Located in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, Lone Pine Forest Products is a leading manufacturer of durable, high-quality rig mats and access mats. We are one of four companies operating under the Duz Cho banner. Lone Pine Forest Products, a division of Duz Cho Construction L.P., is owned by the MacLeod Lake Treaty 8 First Nations.
Rig and access mats are an affordable, eco-friendly solution for oilfield, agriculture, or wherever you need access. Used as temporary roadways, staging areas, landing pads, walkways and so much more. Look to us for all your matting needs. Over the years there have been major changes with the company and yard. Did you know we once used to be a lumber yard! Former owners started Lone Pine as a lumber yard in the late 70's and advanced to building rig and access mats.
With the new Duz Cho Construction L.P. ownership in 2019 came positive changes. We cleaned up our yard, became more organized and safety conscious, which earned us SECOR certification in 2020 and COR certification in 2024. Recently the main building has gone through a major change. We added a lunchroom onto the building with an open door to the main office. This change was to promote a more open and work friendly environment. We think of ourselves as the Lone Pine family. Our little family currently varies in size from 10 to 25 employees, depending on the season and demand for mats. We strive to maintain an environment that satisfies and supports both our employees and our customers.
